Kenneth R. Thomas is a retired professor of rehabilitation psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was born and raised in Bellefonte, PA, a town of approximately 6000 residents in Central Pennsylvania. He received his graduate and undergraduate education at The Pennsylvania State University, and his psychoanalytic education at the Center for Psychoanalytic Study in Chicago. Thomas has published three professional books and numerous refereed journal articles and book chapters. Many of his publications challenged ideas that were considered “politically correct,” both professionally and/or politically.

He is an avid fan of 1950’s rock ‘n’ roll and ancient history. He has always been a “car guy,” and currently drives a performance-enhanced Ford Mustang GT. He has been married to the same woman for 54 years, and they have two children and five grandchildren…all of whom are beautiful and brilliant. Thomas and his wife, Cindy, live in the Southeastern United States.
